Jeff and I started this band as a stress relief kind of thing in about 1991. We used to jam after getting off of work at the factory about 3-4 times a week. There were quite a few people who used to come and listen to us. We played quite a few Metallica tunes, and the rest of them were originals. When we had 4-5 original songs that we could play very "semi" well we went out to this basement studio set up by a guy who also worked in the factory, that we all knew, Mikey. What a layout. Mikey filled all the holes in the sound, and added his own flavor to alot of our songs. He ended up working harder on this stuff than we did I am afraid... and for that we all owe him. We are currently in the recording studio again, trying to get all of our old tunes done the right way.
Why this name?
You would have to talk to Jeff about that!!!! HAHAHA
Do you play live?
We get together at least twice a month, and play at Scotty's (our drummer/keyboardist/lyricist)house. We love to get together and just wing it. And any chance I personally get, I go to Mikeys newly revamped studio and record. It isn't always the easiest with me living 80+ miles from these guys, so I look forward to every opportunity.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it makes it possible for bands that just have fun, a chance to be heard. Heck we made it up to #32 on some chart...hahahaha
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
Band history...let's see. There is way too much history to list. We as a band have been through births, deaths, divorces, weddings, major surgeries, etc. I think that our music has been a way to deal with all the above. Through it all, we have remained close, and have gotten closer over the years. It is rare in this day and age that you can have friends for over a decade, where you still like to hang out together. We seem to always know where the other "jammee" is going. The key ingredient to our band has been the fun we have just letting loose, and jamming. And the DT dvd's always help. Thanks for listening!!
Your influences?
Metallica, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Pink Floyd, all my bandmates who underestimate their talent, 80's hair rock...the list goes on and on.
