Were You The One Were You The One
This song is about choices, letting go of people you care about, and facing the heartbreak of it all.
The Piece With My Name On It The Piece With My Name On It
A memory from my 10th birthday, so many years ago...
The Ocean Below The Ocean Below
For me, this song creates mental images of floating over the ocean - very surreal and stirring emotions.

I was born and raised in Redwood City, California, about 25 miles south of San Francisco. At the age of 6 my aunt taught me organ/piano lessons for approximately 8 months, after which I began to play by ear and practice, practice, practice. I've been in and out of numerous bands through high school and college, moving through basic rock-n-roll blues bands up to progressive rock / jazz / blues groups, etc... Personal studies include jazz, classical, electronica, film scores, world, etc... just about everything, though I find my personal favorite is thematic progressive rock with creative orchestrations and interesting lyrics. Over the past 10 years I've focused on instrumental music for film and television.Your musical influences

good stuff ed.
feel free to check me out, though I am probably quite a bit more "experimental" than you are.

Dayum Ed! You have some superb tunes here. Just listened to Moon Behind the Clouds - very nice. I also checked out Lunch At The Salton Sea and read the story behind it. Quite profound - I've found myself thinking the same way at times. Keep up the good work.
Hi Ed!
Stopping by and listening some tunes, Lunch At The Salton Sea is very relaxing - like it.
Cheers!

wow, SMILE but what a smile! Love the track.
Amazing stuff, man. I stumbled on your page from a link in the reason forums. I'm gonna have to listen to "The Piece With My Name on It" "The Ocean Below" and "The Roadless Travel" (just to name a few) repeatedly, just try to to learn a few things.
Awesome work.
