I'm back (again)!

Let's see if I can crank out a few decent songs while I'm feeling inspired! I've been making music since 2003 when I was deployed to Iraq. I've been on a six month hiatus, so it's time to get back to work!
Why this name?
Hip hop is the language of today's global culture. I wish to use this lyrical, beat-influenced language to get my thoughts to the public. Plus, I am studying to be a linguist.
Do you play live?
I've been performing for people I work with and doing a verse or a song when requested. Still building that confidence cause it's all about practice.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows people to have more control over an all too powerful radio and music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
NEVER! I wouldn't mind working with some cats that got record deals, but I will NEVER work for the labels themselves. I sold my soul once to the military... can't do it twice.
Band History:
Started writing in 2003 while deployed to Iraq.

Since then, it has been touch and go. I write when I feel inspired.
Your influences?
I'm a fan of independent hip hop. Anything I feel is innovative is counted as an influence. I like Nas, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Common, Mos Def, and I am a huge fan of the Movement Crew, especially Drunken Tiger.
Favorite spot?
Seoul, South Korea.
Equipment used:
One of the most fantabulous conglomerations of scrumptrulescently ghetto home-recording setups in the history of hip hop.
Anything else...?
