Welcome to KOLSCH VON KOLSCH, I began playing piano when I was very young, it was a gift. My mother tried to get me to take piano lessons but much to her dismay, reading notes was something that I couldn't get interested in. I could play and make the piano sing, if I was just allowed to play the music that I could hear in my mind. I love music, I feel it is inspired. I have done a total of 5 albums which you can see more of at www.kolschvonkolsch.com
Why this name?
Kolsch is the name carried by my early German Ancestors it has now been changed to Kelsch. I named the Band Kolsch Von Kolsch out of respect for my heritage which has always been important to me.
Do you play live?
`I play live now and then. I would like to ultimatley do quarterly concerts in large stadiums, and would love to do film scoring as well.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is an amazing tool for an independant artist, a place to network with friends and experience and a place to share their talent, something I think every talented person should do. Share your God given talent with the world
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I have sign non exclusive distribution contracts with Ominex Record and Statue Records and have been shipping albums all over the world, as far as Seuol Korea last I checked. I would welcome a major label though, what a great way to blast out into the marketplace and BE HEARD!! Plus who wouldn't love all that attention ;-)

the instumental music I do could be compared to Yanni, John Tesh, a movie soundtrack the vocal album Deep Green has an OMD, Alphaville, Depech mode sound with very inspiring and thought provoking stories
