The Tussin Box Set is not a band. It is a collection of recordings made between the summer of 1997 and the winter of 2000 by brothers Jason & Jonathan Dowling (of Leo's Operation, owners of the Production Procedures Productions label), Joshua Roberts (of El Grosso, Noise Reduction, Etc.), Joe Yankovich (of Leo's Operation) and many others. more notes soon.
Why this name?
Tussin, find it at your local pharmacy.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I can now put all 18 hours of the Tussin Box Set on the internet instead of selling multiple tapes and cd's!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they were willing to take on the task of releasing 18 hours of crap in one set.
Band History:
coming soon.
Your influences?
only inspiration: the gross hogs
on the box set we cover songs by: Skinny Puppy, Tom Petty, Spice Girls, Elvis, GG Allin, Rentals, Kraftwerk, Beck, Madonna, Winger, AC/DC, Gary Numan, Danzig, Sex Pistols and many others (sometimes irony seeps in.)
Favorite spot?
Josh's Basement.
Equipment used:
we are not wither genre but we use a lot of keyborads: juno-160, lots of cheap keyboards, organs, etc.
