I compose, arrange, and produce all of Amestad Beatz. My beats are all sample free and original. I sell and lease beats at reasonable prices to all artists whether you are a Spoken word poet, singer, dancer, or rapper. Music by nature is infinite, so I expand the boundaries of music by incorporating all different styles and moods into my beats.

Why this name?

Amestad is a spin off of my real name. The word Amistad means friendship and since I have a tight friendship with my music, Amestad fits.

Do you play live?

Yes, I'm part of a performing artist collective called, "A Mic & Dim Lights Alumni". We perform all over Southern Cali.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It allows people from all over the globe to connect and expand.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I'd give it serious consideration.

Band History:

I'm a classically trained pianist but grew up listening to and inspired by Hip hop, R&B, Jazz, and the Blues. I've been creating music and writing songs for the past 17 years and creating serious beats for the past 5 years.

Your influences?

I take my classical training and blend them with the Hip hop sounds of 2K. My music is influenced by emotion and I communicate that to the listener.
