My name is Jack Hobbs aka Hobbit. I am a beatboxer. Bascially beatboxing is makign percussion sounds and other sounds with your mouth and just that, no other effects added. This is one of the most fun styles of music to do and cheapest since all you need is your mouth! Beatboxing is very big to me now and plays a big part in my life.

Why this name?

My name is basically from my last name Hobbs and Hobbit has come from that from my Dad since it was his nickname for many years.

Do you play live?

I have played live a number of times, at bars, cafes and one of my latest gigs at a Festvial called Greenbelt at Cheltenham, UK. I have upcoming gigs that spring up through the year and my next will be in early November (Date to be confirmed)

Band History:

My "band" history is basically that i have been beatboxing for around 2 years now and have never stopped, it is not so much practicing just a hobby you can do anytime you like.

Your influences?

My main influence for beatboxing was a Pro Beatboxer by the name of Rahzel who i greatly looked up to when i started, then i found out about Killa Kela who is an awesome talent and of course my main inspiration is from many beatboxers i have met over the years including TyTe, Yasson, Arro, Kamniks and more to mention.

Favorite spot?

My favourite city is either Birmingham or Bristol in the United Kingdom there lovely vities and great for going to jam in with a few beatboxers!
