With summer gone and winter drawing near, the lads from ARK are once again contemplating their futures. Matt and Martyn are off to Uni once more, whilst James is recovering at home from his travels (and planning more - mad fool) whilst Paul is doing weird and wonderful music qualifications at college.

Still, they all find time to rock now and again - a deal is being negotiated for a new practise room and they're playing at Matt's parent's 25th wedding anniversary do - life can't be all bad!

Cheers,

The ARK boys

A four piece Pop funk jazz rock combo with a high amount of energy and passion. We have a very 'live' sound.
Why this name?
Martyn chose it at random out of one of his favourite books - the title of which escapes even him. No, really, we don't know!
Do you play live?
Oh we love to play - there's a kind of buzz. The best live moment is a Battle of the Bands one where we made the entire place rock and everyone came up to us afterwards and told us how much they liked our music. Shame the judges didn't feel the same way....
If you make it big..?
...we'll all shout HURRAH!

Played at local pub and charity venues before playing Moles club in Bath, where other famous bands (Oasis, Blur, Kula Shaker) have also played. 8 track demo recorded at The Music Workshop, Devizes (hi Pete!) through 1997 and 1998. Placed consistently high in competitions. Currently looking to be signed and support slot.
