Why this name?
It's kind of a 'theme' that's been going on for a while with me and webpages housing my art; first Luna See, Lunarium, and currently Lunariad as Lunarium was taken at the time I made my current domain. So, after seeing that "Luna" was already a musician, even though I create graphic works by that nick, and not wanting to copy another artist if possible, I just decided on "The Lunarium".
Do you play live?
No.. that would be kind of odd for a hermit :)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This is a really long and divided debate. Personally I feel that a lot of "people" may just download music they can get free but people who actually respect the artists and the music will go buy a copy whether they download it or not. Those that don't buy a copy probably never would have in the first place so I don't feel that the artists are truely losing anything. Still, with the "digital age", like any technological advances, the artists and media companies are going to have to adapt whether they like it or not and "adapting" doesn't include threatening 12 year olds with legal fees to make an "example" of them. It's retarded and fruitless. There are far more things going on in the internet than kids on kazaa. You'd think it would be obvious to anyone that was "concerned" about internet piracy but apparently not. I think the war on childhood porn should take a higher rung than "music piracy" but, again, apparently not. I think that goes to show where the "concerns" of some people really are when all is said and done.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
uh... sure.. not that any would really be interested in my music :)

But really, I just enjoy making my tunes and I don't ever dream of being "famous". Then again if you can make a little money off of what you enjoy I call that a bonus!
Band History:
The "artist" known as Luna is generally a graphic artist who enjoys creating art and, most of the time, also listens to music while creating his graphic images. This music spans things like classical, gothic, industrial (and all it's sub genre sillyness), 80s new wave, punk, celtic, and Techno to name a few. So it is that, sometime in 2003 he slid into the dabbling of creating his own music which falls somewhere between many of his favorites. He's not very confident about his music, while others seem to like it, and currently has two albums, one finished and one as yet unfinished waiting for a female vocal line (anyone?), that are available on his website.

A nice and quiet forest except they don't have electricity there so, ultimately, I need technology (cities).
