The music project Ratiocination is not a music group. Ratiocination is actually a side project produced by one person. Ratiocination was created as a medium to explore the frustrations that all living things have with life, with people, and the pain they endure every day. This project was also created as a way to vent feelings of anger and frustration without causing violence. The content of the songs produced by Ratiocination are not meant to inspire violence but instead are a medium for listeners to relate to, the producer to vent and connect with listeners who feel the same pains and frustrations, and perhaps move certain people to consider whether they are the leading cause of some one elses frustration or pain.
Why this name?
Ratiocination (n.) - The process of reasoning, or deducing conclusions from premises; deductive reasoning. The name Ratiocination was chosen because it fits the projects deepest purpose which is being reasonable, finding that reason through premises, and delivering reason.
Do you play live?
It is not yet decided whether this project is going to be taken to the stage or not. As of right now this project is just an experimental project. This project may, in the future, be taken to stage. If this is so it will be announced. As of right now the producer will concentrate on the music only.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes music in a way that the artists can concentrate more on the music and not so much as on getting the music heard or getting it through big labels to get it heard. There are less hoops to jump through.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on whether or not the offer is suitable to the producers needs and demands.
