A little bit of band history: Bob Wisenor was a member of the Pizza Jury in '94 where he was inspired to take his songs out of his dark damp basement and into the darker damper clubs and bars of Pittsburgh. He formed the band Regulation Planet and has played anywhere and everywhere.
Regulation Planet has played the second stage for Bon Jovi in '01 and for other great bands like Goo Goo Dolls, Creed, Def Leppard, Poison, Ratt, Motley Crue, and the Scorpions at the Post-Gazette Pavillion in Pittsburgh. They just recently played the second stage again for Bon Jovi July 24, 2003 at the Post-Gazette Pavillion. Also Regulation Planet just opened for 40FT.Ringo (Ex members of TRIXTER) in Pittsburgh at The Boardwalk.

REGULATION PLANET can be seen regularly at The Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh and other larger venues around town.

Why this name?
I wish this was a better story. I am a fan of Clint Eastwood westerns. I always loved stuff like Billy the Kid. I wanted to call the band the REGULATORS. Like in the movie "Young Guns" It morphed into REGULATION PLANET. Hey, I needed something.......
Do you play live?
We have played everywhere.. Clubs, Bars Amphitheaters.. We are big on outdoor festivals.
The big ones are: The Bon Jovi shows already mentioned. Def Leppard, Poison, Ratt, La Guns, Great White, SR71, The Goo Goo Dolls,

Best club show: Opening for 40FT.Ringo (ex-members of TRIXTER) here in Pittsburgh @ the Boardwalk. Packed the place. (Steve Brown and PJ Farley of Trixter have a new cd and a new band)

Best Festval gig we Headlined: PittFanFest 01.
6,000 kids and us..

We will play your backyard and bring the beer.
You got electricity? If not, we will bring the beer and a generator.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has gotten us new fans! Far away fans!
We got people from a ton of other countries into us at the moment. The internet has been a good thing so far. But let me tell you this.. never under any circumstance, put your home phone or home address on anything that may make its way onto the web.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
(Screams) YES!!!
Band History:
I had been writing and playing for awhile. I hadnt let on to anyone for quite some time.
I got to attend a listening party with Jon Bon Jovi for his album "These Days". He had people vote on his demo's to help him decide on which songs to include on his next album.. He has done this since the begining. He calls it "The Pizza Jury" It had a huge impact on me and gave me the confidence to pursue my dream. I may never be a (Quote) "Rockstar" but I already am a songwriter! That is were my true love lies anyway.

I got some great musicians together to help me record my songs for a full length album. The end result was great and a lot of exposure and fantastic gigs followed. Over time I needed to add permanent members to the band. I got very lucky and got some great players!
I have the second cd written and we will be hitting the studio this fall.

Bob Wisenor: Lead Vocals/Rythym Guitar
George Karnos: Lead Guitar/Backing vocals
Derek Serish: Bass Guitar/Backing vocals
