Mantra Chord is a world fusion, tribal rhythm, and experimental band that doesn't always go by the book when it comes to song structure and ideas. Mantra Chord has deeply textured harmony and sometimes unpredictable rhythmic styles.

Do you play live?
No I do not play live due to all of the multi-tracking that is needed for my music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows more of a "voice" for bands that aren't corporately-$$money backed. It exposes listeners to more diverse music that isn't cookie-cutter radio friendly stuff.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but I wouldn't want my music to be commercialized too much.
Your influences?
A cross between Peter Gabriel (instrumental songs of his), Moby, Enigma, and Afrocelt Sound System. But yet I have my own unique sound. Primarily synth sounds with tribal/modern drums and ancient tribal samples.
