KDE Productions is a Music Production firm specializing in the writing, arranging and production of positive music. Contemporary Gospel provides the foundation of the musical style, but the influences are vast and ever evolving.
Do you play live?
I’ve played live in the past, and although I love the rush and the excitement of live performance, I have to say I really prefer being in the studio, producing and/or writing. I really feed off of that whole creative aspect of this industry.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Combined with an aggressive promotional effort, the Internet allows virtually instant accessibility for an artist just starting out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely, when the right Production Deal and Publishing Deal comes along. I would love for a larger audience to experience the vibe I’ve been blessed with.
Band History:
For the past few years KDE has produced local artists in Dallas and Austin, and has worked with an array of local songwriters. Recent experiences in theatrical sound effects production have proven to be rewarding in broadening the firms production scope.
Your influences?
Earth, Wind, and Fire; David Foster, Walter Hawkins, Cameo, Chaka Khan, Sting, Qunicy Jones, Jeff Lorber, Kim Burrell, Spyr Gyra, Fred Hammond, Teddy Riley & Mary Mary just to name a few.
Favorite spot?
Right now I somewhat partial to Dallas, But when you are with the right people, the place really doesn't matter.
