The Zen Genies were a punk pop surfcore indie band from Australia between 1986-90. The Genies were known for their wild live shows and released two singles, "I'm Hangin' Out" B/W "Six Foot Under" and "Surfin' Vampire" B/W "Psycho Clown"
As well as an album "Dr Death" on the indie label timberyard.

It came to me after heavy shock treatment

We were known for our live shows, I guess the most special moment was when our singer Jethro married a sex doll on stage. That bought tears to my eyes
