I'm a solo artist with 8 years experience, so I'm still quite new to the game. I write mainly in the Trance genre, and vary as far as the sub genres go. Almost every thing I create is electronicly produced, and will be for some time. I'm still only learning with electric and bass guitars. I write whatever moves me at the time, and most of it is emotionally charged. I'll spend 15 hours straight creating things that may never be finished, as I'm sure you all do. I've been on a 3 year hiatus after the release of my first full CD, Alien Daydreams. While I loved the reactions I've gotten from the CD, I had to take a break. Now that my youngest son is 3 and I'm getting a little more time, I'm about to hit the studio again for round 2, full of new ideas. I look forward to unleashing my Sophmore effort in the first half of this year, and it's looking miles better than the first. If you've enjoyed my work before, stick with me, it only gets more insane.
Why this name?
It's my name, so the choice came quite easily, and without much deliberation.
Do you play live?
Never had the opportunity.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe the internet gives artists an outlet to be heard. I believe to most of us, this has been a great opportunity to share a talent with others, who might not have had the chance.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
most likely, if the opportunity ever arose. I'd probably be very weary of it. I'd certainly consider it, after all of the work I've put into my first release.
Your influences?
I listen to pretty much everything from hard techno and trance to metal, to rap and R&B.
Favorite spot?
Home, New Orleans
Equipment used:
Just my custom PC at the moment, Hamer Electric Guitar, Jackson Pro 4 string Bass, Marshall Amp, and Rode NT-1 Mic
Anything else...?
Hmm, what do I put here. I never wanted to stop writing music, and I still don't, but life makes you take breaks, and you realize if you didn't stop you would have missed the most important things, lessons, and experiences life has to give. I've grown as a person, and now I get the chance to prove that I've grown as an artist. Hope you'll stick with me, I'm swinging for the fences upon my return.
