Call this my electronic experiment... I really have no clue what I'm doing... I just sit down and the music starts to flow. I get a beat, then a rythm.. next thing I know I got leads and effects popping outa left field.
I'm currently a solo artist, working on my computer.. everything so far has been all through FruityLoops V.4 , and thats about the extent of my equipment.
Why this name?
Well.. I don't know how the whole Llama thing came around.. but once I was dubbed 'the Llama' by some friends of mine, it just kind of stuck.
Do you play live?
Not yet... unless you count jam sessions. Despite my current songs being all computer-recorded, I do play drums, and a bit of guitar and piano, as well as write lyrics and my own songs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gets more music out to the people.. now more small time artists can get their music out to the rest of the world, and more people can listen to hellova lot more music. I think its great, and I'm all about getting the music around. Music is just one of those things that anyone can like.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
For now, I'm all about supporting my small time labels... RM Inc. will get going soon, and I have all the support in the world for High Hopes records
Band History:
Been playing instruments since I can remember.. jammed out in drum circles as a kid, picked up kit drums around 13, as well as had some sax and clarinet experience. Picked up guitar around 17, just messing around. Alot of times I've had a lack of other people to interact with musically, so I picked up composing and recording through computer programs, from midi up to FruityLoops. And well, few years later, here I am still popping out pieces.
Your influences?
90's alt rock, underground electronica, industrial rock, trance, ... and a little bit of random other things here and there.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere I have a good friend, really. I've been traveling around so much, I can't really choose one place....
Equipment used:
Fruity Loops 4.. and that's about it.
Anything else...?
Llamas spit.. be carful.
