It's my last name and for most of my life people have called me "Sackman". I'm so used to it that I feel weird when someone says "Marc". Also, I couldn't think of a better name so I decided to just stick with the name I already have.

Good question! Downloading unauthorized music off the internet is stealing, pure and simple. However, it's so rampant and wide spread that it's become accepted by society.

I don't know a thing about the music industry. i havn't even been told that i'm good yet, that's why i'm here. You have to start somewhere.

Musical influences? I'd have to say that depends on what i've listened to recently. I love elctronic music but I find inspiration in other forms. James Brown for instance, his rhythms are so tight and complex and yet there's no drumloops or anything.
If I were to narrow it down I would say Leftfield is my major influence because they have the ability to creat a variety of styles ranging from DnB, to hard house and evrything sounds just as good. I think that's rare now adays. If you buy an electronic C.D and listen to the whole thing, it's all usually the same style throughout and it can all blend together. So I admire good diversity. I should also add Groove Armada to that list as well.

My favourite city so far would be Toronto and then Charlotte North Carolina
