To truly know ourselves, to know what we have become, we must know how we would respond to the question "Any Last Words". When faced with the last moments of our lives we utter the statements that we hope will place an indellible mark on the hearts and minds of those surrounding us. Through our music we attempt to both ask that question of our listeners and scream our decleration of life... the Last Words of a dying culture.

I think it is great for the industry. The 5 major labels run everything and the 16 dollars we pay for a cd, well the artist sees a buck or less from it. So its not like the artist really prospers from selling lots of CD's, it comes from tours and merchandising. We believe that music is the message not the money we can make from it. It gives people a good way to hear new music that they may have never heard before because it wasnt played on the radio or whatever.

That really depends on the label and the situation. There are some labels that give you complete artistic freedom with your music, like hatebreed and Universal, but that is very rare. We would need a label that believes in our message and our cause, and would help us to be able to get our music out to the masses.

AnyLastWords was put into idea format almost 3 and a half years ago. After cycling through about a dozen drummers, AnyLastWords found Ray, who fit into the vision of the band perfectly.
