We just like the sound of it and it rolls off your tongue pretty well...KRONOS. Plus, Cronos from Venom is such a metal icon and naming the band after him is fine by us.

Yes we play live and we love it! We play anywhere we can, usually at underground gigs and bars. We're a live band more than anything else.

It has made music from unsigned bands more accessible to the music fans.

Sure, why not? It's no big deal really, as long as we still get to have all the creative control over our material from the music to the artworks.

Kronos was conceived May 2003 with it’s members coming from the late 80’s Philippine underground metal scene. It’s core line up is composed of Alfie, Kristine (Tin Tin) & Joseph. Early 2004 Francis (Big) was added as the 2nd lead guitarist and after going through three vocalist, hooked up with Philippine-based Aussie, Katie Warren.
