There are many different sides to this issue. Of course the download programs can and do remove some profits from the artists themselves. On the other side, the internet was a catalyst for musical Darwinism, raising the bar of creativity. The majority of labels are so profit-blinded that they have focused on mainstream, non-threatening garbage. Its socially edible. The internet allows for any artist with a computer to spread his music or views which then puts the power in the public's hand to decide what they want.

Yes..although the majority of labels sponser primarily bullshit, they still aid the band in their #1 priority...getting heard.

Sargon & Zero grew up together in the concrete jungle of Southern Cali. Skating, blazing, selling bongs, and absorbing lies from our teachers. Both of us are influenced by completely different sides of music, but the overlapping section in the middle is where we focus our energy. Currently Sargon is living in Germany for college while Zero lives in Southern Cali/ Utah working his fingers to the bone. For these reasons it is a complete pain in the ass to record our music. I record my sections here while Zero does his from the other side of the planet and we're managing to get our album done hopefully soon. I'd also like to introduce Splinter..a German rapper/skater friend of mine who has been recently collaborating on many projects of ours, including our most recent project/band entitled Citizens Of Earth. COE is in the process of producing some next level, inspiring, & spiritually empowering music. Keep checking on this page.
