Dispositivo surge en 1999 tras la desintegracion de El Anexo (1999). Sus integrantes tienen una larga historia musical que remonta desde 1989 tomando parte de bandas como el apando (1989), tabu (1991), la maquina de hacer ruido(1990), calaveras del monton (1993), casandra (1995) y el anexo (1997).
