Every now and then you come across a band whose music is so addictive, while at the same time so meaningful and touching that you cannot stop listening to them. Awaken the Form is one of these rarities. The group consists of Nick Siler (vocals), Steve Longoria (guitar), Todd Kurtz (guitar), and Nasar Ahmad (drums).Their sound is one that is incredibly unique; it is hard to put a label on it. Hints of emo, metal, and rock can be heard throughout their songs. Steve's melodic playing is the perfect complement to Todd's thick and rythmic guitar riffs. Nick's voice tops it off, whether he's singing melopoeically, or screaming fervidly every note is felt. Nasar's drumming was exactly what the band was looking for to complete the group's vision. They had to go through many, many others before they found what they were looking for. Awaken the Form is an original, extremely committed band that plays music to be creative and express emotion. While in previous bands, some members have opened for such national acts as Finger11 and Amen. They are a high energy group who put on a live show that is very sincere. They are ready to open your eyes.

Why this name?
We wanted a name that would mean something different to every person that heard it. We wanted our music to speak for itself.
Do you play live?
We play in Ohio, and are looking forward to playing more states early summer 2004
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet gives music lovers the opportunity to listen to bands that aren't on mtv. Bands now have the power to have people from all over the world listen to their music simply by visiting a website and listening to free music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the opportunity arose we would sign for the right reasons. If a major label would help more people hear our music then great, but we wouldn't change our music or style just to sell records.
Your influences?
Our influences are very different. We listen to anything that creates emotion.
Favorite spot?
We have to say Toledo right?
