play lo-fi play hi-fi  Psalm 23
Bible in Song grew from a 20 year plus hobby in composing music to the Bible to recently producing a studio album at Quentin Eyers Music in Adelaide, South Australia. Singers include Ian (Polly) Politis, Janelle Ing and Linda Ryan.
Why this name?
The name Bible in Song describes what the music is all about. Currently about 6 hours of music has been composed to the Bible.
Do you play live?
Very rarely as the composer is not a professional singer.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and mp3 in particular has the potential to reach a very wide audience who would otherwise not have the opportunity to hear music such as Bible in Song.
Band History:
Ian (Polly) Politis has been a leading singer at Adelaide music concerts, gigs and recording studios for more than 20 years. He is a singing teacher and has sung at big events such as the Adelaide Formula One Grand Prix and Carols by Candlelight.

Janelle Ing was formerly a member of the Australian Christian vocal band Endless Praise. Being in that group for over four years, she toured Australia and Papua New Guinea and sung at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

Linda Ryan has a special interest in singing for those with infirmities and the underprivileged. She has taught choirs and sings in an acapella group.
Your influences?
Not having poetic expertise, Handel's Messiah was an important influence because it inspired the composer to also borrow lyrics from the Bible. Approximately two-thirds of lyrics from "The Messiah" are found in the "Bible in Song" collection. Psalms 2 and 24 are good examples.
