Why this name?
Deshun Is actually my middle name, I just wanted to keep it real and stay original.
Do you play live?
I'm currently playing live in a band, doing weekend shows and special events.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet definitely changes the music industry, for the good and for the bad, but for me it's for the good I've met tons of people and I created a buzz for myself just being online chattin with different people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Currently I'm doing everything on my own and I'm making my own money and marketing myself, but yes I would sign with a major label, if the vibe is right.
Band History:
I've done tons of shows over the years from little coffee shops to a major stage with artists like Shania Twain, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, the Contours and even a performance at R&B group 112 after party. I've done local TV shows, drug rally's, talent shows, so many, and in doing so, I've gained alot of experience and exposure.
Your influences?
My musical influences are Michael Jackson, Seal, the Temptations, Usher, and Outkast.
Favorite spot?
I really dont have a favorite city on earth cause I'm yet to visit some of the great spots like Cali and NewYork, so I can't really answer that.
