Yvonne Bach is my name... AngelVon is what my dad started calling me while I was taking care of him before he died of cancer... the name AngelVon means alot to me...

My Father fought such a courageous battle. My mother had just passed away, my oldest son Kevin, who is afflicted with Cerebral Palsy, had fallen and was dealing with a broken hip (Dr's said he would NEVER walk again, but WHAT do they know???? He is walking today, with a distictive limp, but praise God, walking) ANYWAY after mom's sudden death, dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, they gave him three months to live....So, I packed my bags with the blessing of my husband, and headed to Beaver Dam, Ky to care for my dad.

Glory to God, I ended up caring for him for over 3 and 1/2 years. What a precious gift that time with him was. So much happened to me spiritually during that time. I watched a man praise God EVERY day that he suffered, with JOY and no mumbling about "why him?" I learned that each and every day is a new beginning. I guess in short, what I am trying to say is....watching my dad die a little bit every day, I was taught how to LIVE. In prayer every evening he would always say this...

"Despite what this world has laid upon me, I have enjoyed this day with You!"

.... you can be sure that no matter WHAT this world throws my way.... I'm gonna ENJOY the Grace of God, I'm gonna revel in it!!!

OH, and while I was away from home all that time.... yes, it was hard, we suffered financially, emotionally at being apart every day... but you know what happened???? OUR MARRIAGE ONLY STRENGTHENED!!!! GLORY!!!!! How many couples can go through something like that and come out stronger???? Well, if the couple is seeped in the Word, wrapped in the Love of Christ, YOU CAN GET THROUGH ANYTHING!!!!

Yes, normally at chruch. I get invited to sing at differenct chruches, weddings, funerals, you know, when ever they need special music. I also play on my front porch or out back on the patio ALL THE TIME!!!! I just love porches, don't you????

Well, Yep!!

I started playing and singing in church, yet I ended up playing in a southern rock/country band for quite a few years, until the call to return to the fold became loud and powerful. I have not looked back. Praise God, I have not looked back.

My music Partner, ART ELSWICK and I have been friends for over 20 years, yeah, LOL, we go back a LONGGGGGG wayyyyyy. Soon after I returned from caring for my father, Art and his family moved back from Kentucky too (they were in Eastern Ky) and he stopped by the house to let me know he was BACK and we've been making music ever since. I had been praying that God plant someone in my path that could help me record, sing and produce my mucis, and here came my beloved friend ART!!!

Our family and spouses are so supportive of our endeavors. They make sure that we have our practice time, our recording time, and then there's times just to gather, huddle and fellowship!!! It's a blessed partnership, fer sure, and I am SO BLESSED to be able to work with this extremely talented man!!!
