let me know what ya'll think of that.

Do you play live?
did a few shows last year along with my crew the Morning After Collective, backed by some very talented musicians on drums, bass, guitar, keys etc. currently working on a brand new solo set
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
the music industry is going through all kinds of crazy fluxuations for a multitude of reasons, the primary ones being the huge influx of bootlegging, crappy a&r policies among the majors, and the availability to anyone with a day job to sound as good with home recordings as any standard professional studio. i could write a novel on the situation of the music industry but i got music to make.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
given the right contract, hell yes.
Band History:
i owe it all to my brother, ACI. he got me into hip hop from an early age, always bumpin tribe called quest, the roots, common sense, black star. then one day he was working on a beat or something and i decided i wanted to rap to it. that's when it all started.
Your influences?
to name a few:
aceyalone, common, the roots, atmosphere, madlib, el-p, brother ali, sage francis, organized konfusion. i could go on forever.
Favorite spot?
the basement. that's where the magic happens.
Equipment used:
mac G4, pro tools, reason 2.5, digidesign digi001, oktava mk-319 condenser mic, JBL 4206 studio monitors, and a dusty old yamaha 4 track.
Anything else...?
shout out to the homies at 5th element production and the meow meow for keeping dope portland all ages shows alive. Peace to all the fam around portland that made life in that city so enjoyable.
