We have a dream: could the electronic sound and complex melodic and harmonic textures live together without exceeding in "special effects", noise and boring loops.

Diverse influences merge in our pieces (classical-baroque atmospheres, electronic music, soundtracks, new age), in an original alchemy and in neverending evolution.

These influences derive from a pure intention and need of creation and composition.

We refuse the restricted standards of genre such as dance and techno music, we release ourselves willingly from the relaxing and weak themes of most new age productions.

We set our creativity free and search for chasing rhythms, melodies and changing harmonic architectures, inspired by the literature and cinematographic environments of Horror, Medieval-Fantasy, Cyberpunk.
Why this name?

Do you play live?
We're planning to bring our music live in a near future.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a communication media, an artist now can reach his public in a streight manner. Wow.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We don't think so. Our music is not a good business, however :-)
Band History:
Since we were very young, we dedicated our time to the composition and realisation of electronic music.

Initially, we both embraced the house genre; then each of us took part in local rock bands and gained some live concert experience.

Eventually, we have found our musical identity taking distance from pre-defined genres and developing a composition approach out of schemes.

Anyway, we do not exceed in experimentation, as we consider it an istrument and not a goal: we focus our attention on the research of melody and harmony.

So, the Demiurgo Project was born.
Your influences?
We listen to very different kinds of music, but we will report here only a short list of the major artists which could be directly related to our music style - such as that of electronic, new age, soundtrack genres.

These are: Claudio Simonetti and Goblin, Mike Oldfield, The Alan Parson Project and Andrew Powell, Enigma, Jean Michelle Jarre, Brina Eno...

We have aslo to mention Johann Sebastian Bach.
