This is Mike Rice's virtual band for his pop, techno, and Dance songs. Since he has a really wide variety of music, a separate identity seemed useful. His Classical stuff is under the band Michael Rice. His Metal and Rock is under "Limiter".
Why this name?
I think I read it on a "Magic the Gathering" card. I think it sounds cool enough. I've used it as a song title. (I've since found out Def Leppard used the words in "Gods of War". )
Do you play live?
No. My set up isn't portable. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm sharing my music. If freedom of expression is the central issue, it's done wonders. Will it lead anywhere? We'll see.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they like what I offer, I'd hate to dissappoint. :-)(I know that's a big if.)
