Why this name?
The name was given to me by an audience member of a musical I was performing in, many, many years ago.... it stuck, I guess...
Do you play live?
No, it's been about 10 years since performing anywhere. Life kind-of got in the way (long, boring story)... I guess the most memorable moment was playing my music for Leslie West (Mountain)...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There's a big world out there, being made smaller minute after minute by the internet... This is a revolutionary period in the history of entertainment. I don't view it as particularly threatening - just challenging...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
At this point I'm more interested in leasing my music. But if you twist my arm a little harder....
Band History:
I've written over 350 originals, 2 full length musicals, performed solo, with trios (Amethyst, Jack of Shadows) - mostly a solo act, though...
Favorite spot?
New York, New York, New York.... but I wouldn't object to living in New Zealand, if it was offered...
Equipment used:
Martin 0018, Kawai K5... I'm an analog whore, though... digital music has been a huge challenge, and I'm still learning....

I write songs about passion, obsession... the angst and depression experienced in my early years enabled me to use music as a form of therapy, lol...
