In Ether was officially born spring 1999 with its first show being that summer at 7. South in Denver Co. Lucio Duran has been playing music in various projects including Xenophile and Atonal Patterns. Ezra Nye and Patrick Urn played their first shows together in Denver 1998 as Zaghurim Theorem (previous to that Nye was in several bands including My Friend Maggot .and Wither Stench) at Chernobyl with such acts as Kismet, Slow Color Orgasm and J. Frede. In late 1998 Patrick Urn , Lucio Duran and formed Asphyxia which when later on joined by Ezra Nye became In Ether. In Ether has since played shows all over Colorado with groups including Black Cell, George and Caplin, Sporadik, and Pg 27 at many different venues including Galleries bars , clubs , houses and parties including The Gothic in Denver and the Artificial Limb company in Seattle .
