Welcome ladies & gents! You're in for a treat. Cristo is all about singing about love, life and living your days like nobody's business. Powerful ballads, strong melodies, catchy lyrics - in both English and Italian - that'll keep you singing for days.
Why this name?
It's a shortened version of my full real name. It's easier to remember I think...
Do you play live?
I've been playing for people all my life. Having grown up in an Italian restaurant environment, I've serenaded many customers and performed for numerous special occasions of all kinds. I look forward to being more on stages now with a band to perform my music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet makes it easy to make your material available for everyone. I'm working with Trance at Wandering Productions (www.WanderingProductions.com) and it's a great way to get exposure and it's also part of building a more diverse audience.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would consider it, yes.
Your influences?
Elvis Presley, Toto Cotugno, Umberto Tozzi, various Italian artists...
