Let Law Die is currently a 3 piece from Bryson City, NC. We don't play to any particular type of rock, but any kind of obscure and abstract, but listenable and sometimes "poppy" hooks, rhythms and sounds.
Why this name?
Eric made up the name, but the whole concept to LLD is: We play all sorts of rock and metal, but not any particular sub-genre of Rock or Metal. Let Law Die doesn't conform to any kind of music, we play what we feel.
Do you play live?
We have played in various talent shows and "battle of bands" contests. This summer we hope to play again.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes. It gives the listener a chance to open up to different music, it also gives the artist or artists exposure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
When we come up with a full-length demo.
Band History:
Way back in '02 or '03, Billy Ellsworth and Eric Thomas-Hill got together to start a band and needed a drummer, Jeremy Thompson a.k.a "caveman" saw Billy play at a talent show in school and one day they jammed. Around July of '05 the band went on hiatus after life got in the way. It is '07 and they are back.
We will be recording this summer.

Your influences?
Shows back then were unpredictable, back then all of our equipment sucked, time has gone by and things are better. When coming to a show make sure you bring duct tape, packing peanuts, bubble wrap and toilet paper. Don't forget to bring friends too.
Our sound is like Radiohead mixed in with System of A Down, Led Zeppelin and Queens of the Stone Age.
