Born June 4th 1983 in Seoul, Korea, Heesun was adopted at 4 months old by Chinese parents. Growing up Heesun felt likeshe was alone and no one could understand her. Her rhymes give you a closer look into her world of not totally fitting in, something that many people can relate to.

After recording herself for fun Heesun discovered that she had a skill and then began to write songs. After performing at a concert sponsored by the YMCA Heesun was invited by Keith Craig Allen to record a song for the Beats & Blessings Vol. 2 compilation CD that he was producing. Heesun recorded the song “It’s On” which was produced by Malakai. On this song Heesun raps, “yellow skin with the tims, looking good just for my Savior are you shocked now I got it locked now…”
