He's what should be called "The Premium Blend", but this guy is no joke....on the mic OR behind the boards. Ladies and gentlemen....Fred Strife.
At the still ripe age of 23, this New Brunswick, NJ native is detsined to be one of the most acclaimed emcees and producers to date. His trademark vocal tone, baritone with a nasal tinge, will grab you the moment you hear it. His lyrics could be most accurately described as a pschyoanalysis. With every word, he paints a picture of his life growing up. He stands out for many of today's most popular emcees in many ways. He only kills people with undeniably bangin' lyrics and equally captivating soundscapes. From his songs alone, he invites you into his mind. It's a war zone and a wonderland simultaneously, but he's not afraid of showing his true emotions. And that's what keepin' it real is supposed to be.

Why this name?
The first steady name was Fatal Sin, but I didn't wanna be confused with fellow NJ native/Outlaw member Fatal Hussein, so I changed it to Fred Sinister. I liked it because the first half was my great-grandfather's first name and the other half represented the gritty sounds. But the second half became a tattoo spot in my town, so I changed it to "Strife". It become more fitting, judging theshit I've been thru.
Do you play live?
As of right now, I am tryin' to work out some live shows. If everything goes planned, the small club tour should start around late May-Early June. But I do love performing. It's a rush
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is f***in' fantastic, especially for cats like me. If I post some sh*** on the net, not only can my own town haer me, but so can all the rest of the world. And that's all I really want from my career....to share the little I have with everyone.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i dunno. it's a catch 22. I could sign as sell as many units as 50 Cent or Em, but still be broke as hell. However, i could do my stuff independently, sell 100,000 and have cash, but the exposure ain't there. Maybe my label will be the exception to the rule, but only time will tell.
