Well, we were called Loki when we first formed in 2000. Later on we found out that another artist had the name; so after a ton of ideas we found and stuck with Morphic.

We play live all the time. Playing live is where the art takes a true form. On a cd you can grasp emotion, but live you can see it. Our first show in hollywood at the viper room, was pretty special being that we drove from Detroit to do the show and it was amazing!

I think that the internet and Mp3 format has made a new medium for the artist that is positive. It gives artists a connected way to transport and show the world what they create in a matter of seconds.

That is something that we would love to have happen, the tides would have to be right though. No one wants to end up ass out and stuck in something that is not positive. But yes, we pursue that.

Morphic Timeline-

Winter 2000- Formed, and plays a battle of bands at St.Andrews Hall and wins studio time.
Winter- 2000 cut first demos
Spring- of 2001 began live shows.
Summer 2001 Plays show at The Viper room in LA and also booked small club shows along the way across the states.
Summer 2001 picked up Spivak Entertainment as Management.
Fall 2001- return to Detroit to write, record more demos, gig and launch website.
Winter 2002- Began to open for nationals such as "12 Stones" and "Drycell".
Spring/summer 2002- Continue to write and gig and Fall- Continue to write and gig , open for national "the Used"
