Why this name?
Because 'Cainus Anus' is the name of a band that rocks.
(Actually Cainus Anus wasn't originally our name it was CeeDee-Ar (or CDR). On our first CD our album was called "Cainus Anus" in australia, the band then split in two and my half retained the name Cainus Anus)

Band History:
"Well... Here is how it happened. we were stuffing around with a guitar doing some tunes when for no particular reason we decided to say 'hippi' multiple times while someone was playing a tune, thereby creating a 'song'. I came up with an idea to record this 'song' on my computer using a very small microphone, similar in size to a large pea. Well, we had 2 takes of hippi both resulting in something that made us less than happy with it. So on the third take (or hipi 2.5, as we in CeeDee - Ar call it.) JACKPOT!!! It really was gold, no written lyrics no work not even a good tune, the two of us had just begun our first Album "CAINUS ANUS" now, over a year later Grant the original band member has returned to his homeland while I continue the journey of the Cainus Anus by recording sh*** for Part 2."
