"Our music cannot be defined. Some even say its not music. Its debatable. When pushed to define us, we usually say our music is a fusion of rock/pop/garage/alcohol" $hane.

Originally setup as a counter measure against global terrorism, "The Law"'s music acts as the first line of defence against the axis of evil aka Osama Bin Nu Metal and Saddam Hip Hop.

But like all sea dwelling jelly-like creatures, "The Law" have crawled out of the sea of mediocrity, grown 2 extra legs, and have captured the hearts, minds, and indeed the wallets of the music buying world.
Why this name?
When $hane and Mickey "Blue Eyes" C were banged up in the nick, $hane said "The Law" would be a good name for a band. Ironic, innit?
Do you play live?
We've played all the big venues...The Dolphin Arena, Ballina Stadium. Our biggest audience was 300 when we once struck up a version of "Fields of Athenry" on a flight to the Canaries.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"Its great for us to share our tunes with the ordinary stooge in the street, but lately alot of groups have been ripping us off...*cough* The Darkness, Jet *cough* *cough*" Smokie.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
"No, man, we're not in it for the moola. Its all about the music, discovering new places inside ourselves, reaching our fans, changing the world. But if the price is right.......hell, who am I kidding, I'm cheap" Triple D.
Band History:
The genisis of our band "The Law" is a familiar tale of 'Boy meets boy-boy and boy meet other boys-boys can't meet girls-boys get fustrated-boys suggest that girls might find musicians sexy'. $hane and Mickey C met in the 'Joy, when they were doing 5 to 10. Mickey was in for a spoon robbery, $hane was in for buggery. Through coversation, $hane discovered that Mickey played spoons, and that was the spark. "He was so different to all the other spoon players I'd met" remembers $hane fondly.

$hane met the Triple D after he stole his fiance. $hane was pretty cool about the whole thing, cos she was a bit clapped out anyways. Triple D's style of bass playing would be considered unusual by most people. He generally ignores all music theory, and plays to his own tempo, and in his own key.

The Double Gee, Triple D's brother, is a rarity in the music world. A throw-back to a bygone era, Double Gee insists on playing all gigs wheeled off his tits. Also, he can be rather greedy when it comes to distributing the groupies. Instantly recognisable on stage, as he is generally texting his bi***es, rather than playing the sitar. Double joined the band, famously stating "Better than sitting round the house, jerkin' my gerkin".

Smokie and Coco were living in sin in a delapitated flat in Athlone. Coco subsequently found religion, and now lives a life of voluntary abstinence. With no-one to pass the doobie to on the left hand side, Smokie began to concentrate on the vocal talents. His main singing excercise to to complain about everything, in the form of rap.
Your influences?
"Alcohol mainly. Can't afford hard drugs yet. Smokie, our vocalist, swears by dope. He says it makes his voice, and the rest of him, reach new highs" $hane.
Favorite spot?
"Mars looks good, cos red is our favourite colour. Smokie says hes been there a few times, on one of his "trips". I keep asking him to bring me back some rocks at stuff, but he says the Martians won't let him" Coco.
Equipment used:
