A group of four real people with the drive and blisters to prove that rock will never die. With heavy riffs, melodic interludes and a deep devotion to what we do, we are a lean, mean, Rockin' Machine!
Why this name?
It is an oppropriate title title for our hometown, Bradford. Our home has a lot to do with who we are and it reminds me of that it's always important to show what you are made of and give people everything you've got. All four members are at home in Paradox City and we can be all we can be as a group. It's more of a "club name"
Do you play live?
We play live a lot in our local area and around the county. It's what we're all about. When theres 200 hands in the air and everyone is jumping around to your music, nothing else matters.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
its great publicity and many more bands have many more fans because of it but for some bands it means ecord sales go down because of downloads and so they go broke and can't affort the big prices in touring, recording, etc
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who wouldn't. As long as I was free to make my music and not be moulded into the next busted. What is that about?
Band History:
We've been going almost two years and played around about forty shows. We recently released our debum album "Paradox city" in the winter of 2003. Things have been reallly fun. We recently made a bass player change which was a strenuous ordeal but our new bass player who joined in March of 2004 has brought us to a new level.
Your influences?
A great thing about our band is the diverse musical tadts each of us have. There's Metallica, Tool and jimi Hendrix. There's Aerosmith and Guns n Roses. And a couple of the guys like Foo Fighters and Rage against the machine. We're just influenced by the enervators of the past.
Favorite spot?
Our beds.
Equipment used:
Mardhall stacks, Big Yamaha Drumkit and a Trace Elliot bass stack. PRS, Patrick Eggle and jckson guitars/ basses respectively.
