We are Delusi0n, a prog-tinged hard rock band from Ayrshire, Scotland. At the moment it's just me (Neil McDougall), but that will change once I start back at college.
Why this name?
It's a name I've wanted to use for a while. Plain old Delusion was taken, so I changed it a bit :-)
Do you play live?
No gigs yet, but the people I have in mind (as well as myself) have all had live performance experience, and we all enjoy it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3s and suchlike are definetely a cool way to check out new bands and whatnot. I don't agree with downloading whole albums (if you like a band that much, buy their CD) however.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, if the terms were right. I've got a bit of experience with the business side of the game, so I'd be wary not to get ripped off.
Your influences?
Me personally, my influences range from Bon Jovi to Opeth. It's all good. Apart from Oasis. And loads of those really cheesy nu-grunge (they're NOT METAL! :P) bands.
