Singer Songerwriter Musician..... Winner of VH1 Song of the Year Honorable Mention 2008 for "Embraceable You".
Do you play live?
I've been seen at NY/NJ/PA Area bars, coffee houses, festivals. Some of my music has found its way onto local US as well as international radio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its provided an outlet for unsigned talents to be heard and appreciated. It also gives internet users many more choices when looking for music, instead of letting the industry decide what they will be listening to. A major drag on the industry is that creativity is often squashed. Dollars seem to drive the business instead of creatives, so the industry tends to favor sound-a-likes. If you sound like what's hot now, you get more attention. The popularity of internet music, and the decline of record industry earnings clearly says that the masses want more then they are getting. And letting creativity drive music brings excitement back to what the music business has lost.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Its not important to me. I know I have a few songs that would do well with the right artist and I enjoy telling my stories. Thats all i need now.
