Hi,
I am an elementary school teacher that writes and performs children's music.
I am an elementary school teacher that writes and performs children's music.
Why this name?
I call myself Mr. M because some of the younger folks have trouble remembering or pronouncing my last name, which is McCormick.
Do you play live?
I play for students in various elementary schools almost every day. I especially enjoy Multicultural Week at Moncure School, in Moncure, NC.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it easier to get music to people without having to mail things.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Band History:
I have always enjoyed playing music for kids. It came about as a result of teaching. I use songs to teach facts and concepts, and also just to have fun. I often include the students in the song wrtiting process.
