Why this name?
two conversations. one about how sometimes you meet people and feel like you have met before, or you know them, and the need to find a word to describe those people, as they are usually specially connected to you and your subconscious through similiar experience. and another conversation about zebras under blacklight!
Do you play live?
yes. i have been playing live for 3 years in and around the southwest united states. i absolutely love playing live. special moment: outselling rasputina @ the local industrial/goth/rave club <374> !
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i think it changes alot about music, it is much more accessible, therefore easier to make it, independent. at the same time i think it forces you to be more resourceful and a better musician because you have to think.. how am i ever going to pay the rent on my music, when people can download it for free ?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
probably, but if i ever did, the livelyhood of my music would still depend on having an undergound and independent attitude, and an overall underground lifestyle.
Your influences?
synapscape, noisex, paul oakenfold, lords of acid, skinny puppy, gridlock, moata-o.m.e.n, templegardens, ars moriendi, the cure, stone temple pilots, lush, front line assembly, soundgarden, ministry, converter, mlada fronta, p.a.l., raving, coffee, drive, mazzy star
Favorite spot?
hmm.. san destin, FL.. or orlando, FL
