7 Scabs Of Majik came to the surface in 2003 with the debut release of "The Wrathful Handiwork Scathed In Luminol". This band can be called an Atheist/Straight Edged/Gothic Tinged/Hate Filled rock machine that incorporates metal as much as punk and even folk. No tolerance for drugs, alcohol or religion nor does it condone selling out to the man or pleasing others. What it is...is what we feel...and what we feel...is all we are.
Why this name?
It seems as though many things go in revolutions of 7...sins,years of itch,dirty words eliminated from TV and radio broadcasts, ...notice all the things that involve the number 7, and how many of them leave a bad taste in your mouth afterwards..like a scab upon the pallet.
Do you play live?
Memebers of this band have played live with other outfits, but the possibilities of 7 Scabs Of Majik ever palying live without being arrested or banned from the dwellings is very minimal.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives a great forum for those bands that cannot please the masses by writing and performing music that would otherwise have no outlet. It keeps original music flowing to the bloodstreams of the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
NEVER!
Band History:
All members have come to the realization that society is numb to what is natural emotion. Filling themselves with artificial satisfaction in music, adrenaline, food, and thought preventing formats such as religion, the masses have relinquished their individuality. 7 Scabs Of Majik is here to remind them of their mistakes. We have all traveled long roads of pain and suffering but have vowed to take no more and help change the mentality of humans to come.
