Welcome to MasoChrist
MasoChrist is a 2-man Dutch music project, started in march '04. The Band now has two members, Pieter (left on our image) and Ruben (the right one). Cutting their way through the underground music scene, they intend to make some sort of mix between Metal, Industrial, Electro and EBM.

Why this name?
At first we thought of it as just some kind of name we'd use until we came up with something better, but after some time we kinda got used to it, thought it sounded nice, and so on. It also fits in with the music we make, and with our lyrics.
Do you play live?
We're sure we will when whe've got enough songs and the equipment, but from where we are now, it would't be a good idea to perform on stage in front of an audience. *smile*
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a good way for us to get people to listen to our music so I think it helps starting/underground artists.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not, but we're not too sure about that, we'll let it depend on the contract

Not much really.. Yet.
Your influences?
Various Metal, Electro, Industrial and EBM artists.
Favorite spot?
Depends on our mood.
Equipment used:
Squier and B.C.Rich guitars, Marshall amplification and a personal computer with some recording and music-editing programs. We hope to get some new equipment to play live some day but for now we've got everything we need.

Our intro song is almost perfected, we'll soon start on our first official song which will offcourse be uploaded here for you to listen.
