Why this name?
D-lux derived from my dj name from local parties and events. After getting in the mix of music production, it followed me and thus came about: D-lux Entertainment!
While working on different projects, I decided to start learning how to create websites to add an extra niche to my belt. Being that I already could sing, my heart-felt and true to life r&b songs were in demand...all of this and more, everyone started to call me Versatile and thought the name was more than suitable.

Do you play live?
I have performed at the Buddah Lounge, The Note, and other venues in Chicago. I love to perform as well as make a difference in the lives of others.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is an information highway! Most people may download, but most of them buy the cd's anyway. How else do you explain the artists who have the most downloads going many times platinum? It gets artists more exposure and marketability.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Anytime! I am being patient enough to put my own album together while yet gettting others together. I work with many artists, but look for the opportunity to expand into the major labels.
Band History:
D-lux music has been around on the underground scene since 1995. From karaoke, to talent contests, to written and verbal battles, even to original recorded songs, the growth process has been a steady one. With the likes of other artists, genres and styles, there is an abundance of creativity waiting to make a difference.

R&B: Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson, Michael Jackson, Ginuwine, Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, etc.
