NEWS: Half Naked Feet is back in action!
I found some free programs online that we can make our music with.

Half Naked Feet:

Christian band. Without Christ, we're zip, zero, nada.

Mark 6:7-13

And He summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits; and He instructed them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a mere staff--no bread, no bag, no money in their belt--
but to wear sandals; and He added, "Do not put on two tunics." And He said to them, "Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave town. "Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them." They went out and preached that men should repent. And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.
Why this name?
Wade: Mark 6:9, and a weird sense of humor.
Paul: Actually ... I have no idea why we named it half naked feet ... oh yeah! It's because we both wear sandals.
Do you play live?
Wade: Not yet... except at our church (where we're performing "Unity.")
Paul: But we'll see about doing it soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Wade: Gets new people heard, but sometimes robs from CD sales from other sources.
Paul: I concur. However, just to be nice, I buy a cd from a random band every now and then to stay within my lifelong contract of love for music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Wade: Hahahaha, if they want to....
Paul: If only they could actually see us, yeah.
Band History:
Paul: A history? You want to know how we got together, huh? Well ... it all started when Wade, me, and a friend of ours started freestyling in his van. Then we did it a second and third time. Then Wade came up with a wild idea to make a cd based on Unity, with the names R4JC and The Urban Poet. Since then, we've gotten together to make songs up, either techno stuff for fun or hip hop for luck. Depends on how we feel. As it is, we've been updating QUITE a bit, so be sure to check us often!
Your influences?
Wade: KJ-52, L.A. Symphony, John Reuben, and most Christian rappers.
Paul: And Royal Ruckus, man. And Inner City Posse ... although they're really really bad ... really. They are the reason I was motivated to invent a "midget" in the midget song to be so evil.
Favorite spot?
Wade: My favorite spot is the white one behind my dog's ear.
Paul: I like Maine ... never been there before in my life, but oh well. Paris, right in front of the Eiffel tower. Just lie down on your back, on the grass, and you're there, man ... you're there.
Equipment used:
Wade: Acid Pro 4, a couple mouths, and a few brains.
Paul: Don't forget all those loops we've gotten. There are so many loops we've downloaded, it's not even funny. So, if you hear a loop that you created in one of our songs, we applaud you, we thank you, but we don't adore you.
