DT Jackson became a band in September 2010. What was supposed to be a one-off show turned into an extensive endeavour that mixes alternative rock with folk storytelling, which also borrows from such genres as punk, prog, and grunge. Essentially, a group not afraid to break away from mediocre boring modern rock.

Accompanied by...

Dustin Levay - Drums
Graeme Scott - Bass
Why this name?
It's my name. Now it's our name.
Do you play live?
We do. All over Victoria but would like to explore more of the island and mainland of BC. Every moment is special, and we keep getting better. It's a great feeling.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is the real market. It's all about mp3's. It's up to the buyer to decide whether they want one song or a full album from the band. I think that's very important. It forces labels to focus less on image and more substance. To give us something worth buying. And look at bands that have gone independent, selling their sh*** on their own website and raking in the full profit.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. I would love to make music a career, instead of a hobby
