Our name is taken from the French writer, Marquis de Sade. The man wrote some really messed up stuff and spent alot of time in jail and in mental facilities due to his writings. While we may or may not agree with the things he wrote, we beleive in the freedom of expression that de Sade fought to atain, even from his cell. It also reflects the idea that there is a little "Marquis de Sade" inside us all.
