Why this name?
the neiborhood i grew up in was labled as being lowerclass, so i took on the name to represent that broke/underdog mentality..

yeah, but not recently. look for me this spring and summer 2005!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
yeah definetly! it's made my music what it is today. a big up to internet dj's holdin it down!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
someday, just for the mass distribution, but i'll get it as big as i can on the indie level first.
Band History:
i started writting lyrics around 13, but didn't perform live till i was 19 for the first time. i got one 6 song release on the underground circuit with another artist named peter and i'm currently finishing up a solo release entitled "low life"
Your influences?
ice cube was my first big influence, i really liked his aggressive flow and his social awarness. i've also been influenced by spice one, the real tru'z, tupac and biggie,and your moma bi***!!!
Favorite spot?
the s.o. is home but i love portland!
