Radical Cycle
Distilled Mind are a grunge/heavy/hard-core band from Salisbury in the UK.
They are a 4 piece band with Oz(Jamie)Keeton on guitar and vocals, Jake Horrocks on bass, James Curtis in drums and Simon Mather on lead guitar.
They play their own songs but every now and again like to play a cover or 2.
They play gigs around the Salisbury area with other bands but are hoping to play gigs elsewhere soon....

ermmmm Distilled Mind means being stoned.....
Do you play live?
We all live in Salisbury in the county called Wiltshire in the UK, it's a small city but has a great rock scene!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
yes definatly love it, thanks to the person who invented it, it gives unsigned bands so much more to go for, so three cheers to the person who invented all this!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeah because it would get us lots of gigs and cds :)
Band History:
ermmm we were first a 3 piece band with Oz, Jake and Curtis under the name Headrush and we wrote our first ever songs.
Then we got a second called Chris Miles who was sh*** at the time so we chucked him out then we changed our name to Angels On Fire.
We got a new second guitarist called Carrina Blake who we wrote more songs and played our first gigs with and created www.angelsonfire.co.uk but then Carrina left the band so we replaced her with Simon Mather who became the lead guitarist (Simon joined the band in November of 2003).
After he joined the band we changed our name to Distilled Mind which is now our final name and we created www.distilledmind.co.uk
We've played a fair few gigs with Simon in the band which have all gone very very well :)
On April 19th 2004 Distilled Mind entered a Battle Of The Bands in which we came 2nd!! and the winning band won by only 4 votes!!
We should be going into the studio for 2 days to record a 5 track E.P soon!!

ermmmm we have many different influences which include....Nirvana,Funeral for a Friend, (old)Metallica, Iron Maiden, Big Num, Muse, InMe, Machine Head, Rage Against The Machine, ACDC, Jimi Hendrix and many more......
